Marine Corps Pfc. Ross L. McClanahan, a 2011 graduate of Liberty County High School, earned the title of United States Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
Training lasted 13 weeks.
McClanahan is the son of Richard R. McClanahan of Midway.
