Qualifying for this year’s municipal elections began Monday at 8:30 a.m. and runs through Friday.
Candidates vying for offices in the cities of Allenhurst, Gum Branch, Hinesville, Riceboro and Walthourville have to file official notices of candidacy with the Liberty County Registrar’s Office between these dates in order to be placed on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The registrar’s office is at 102 South Commerce St. in Hinesville. For more information, call the office at 876-3310.
