SOCIAL CIRCLE — Designed with everything outdoors in mind, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division’s summer archery camps aim to educate and engage adventurous youth. Registration is now open for two camps, beginning in June.
Campers should expect constant activity. Two upcoming camps include one at Laura S. Walker State Park in Waycross (June 5-7) and one at Wynfield Plantation in Albany (June 19-21). More camps are planned and will be listed on the WRD website.
Archery camps are intended for youth ages 9-14 and on average cost $50 per camper. To register, a registration packet must be completed and turned in along with payment.
