JEKYLL ISLAND - Georgia's hospital for sea turtles is getting ready to release five more of its patients into the wild.

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island says it plans a celebration Friday when three of its turtles - loggerhead sea turtle Truck and Kemps Ridley sea turtles Morcie and Glottis - are released into the ocean at the new Great Dunes Park.

The release will be accompanied by a barbecue lunch to benefit the United Way of Coastal Georgia.

On Oct. 7, the center plans to release two more recovered patients - green turtles Marti and Duval - on Amelia Island.
