Give this shrimp recipe a shot

Hello everyone. Tight Line Jr. here. Ole’ Tight Line sends his greetings. He’s back home and doing well.
I don’t have much to report on as far as fishing goes, but I do have something to say.
I would like to welcome a new executive co-captain (I prefer the word executive to senior) to the dock tour — Mr. George Ginter, better known as Mr. G. for his side kick, G. Browning. The jury is still out on that one.
Mr. G was fishing on the dock with Blake Waters and in just one day, they landed eight trout, five spottail bass and four black drum. The next day the duo netted eight spottail, two trout and three black drum. I tell you the dock tour is on fire.
I’ll save my full report until next week because my fish are still in the river.
In the meantime, here’s a snack recipe you can munch on while watching the game.
Halfmoon hot shrimp
2 big spoons full of butter
3 dozen shrimp
1 finely chopped onion
Saute those three ingredients over low heat then add:
1-1/2 cups of cream style cottage cheese
1/4 cup Duke’s Mayonnaise
1/4 cup of sour cream
1/2 tsp. of garlic salt
1/2 tsp. of soy sauce
3 tbsp. Frank’s hot sauce
Heat thoroughly and serve them up. I hope you enjoy it.
Yellow Bluff reports having live shrimp and minnows. Halfmoon has live shrimp. Remember to pay me a visit at the Sunbury Crab Company and Marina on Halloween night. Ole’ Tight Line reminds you to go out and go fishing, and if you do remember to always keep a tight line.
I’ll remind you to hit the docks and watch that cork go down.
Your Buddy,
Tight Line Jr.
