It's been too hot to fish
Tightline

The weather has been hot, and it has cut down on the fishing. It has been slow for several weeks.
Rayburn Goodman of Yellow Bluff Fishing Camp reported there was little activity. He said it has been too hot.
He reported having a good supply of live bait and minnows, but did not have any fishing reports. He also reported some locals have caught live shrimp and minnows.
The water is clear, and we have good tides for the next several days. The bass are getting large enough to be legal, and we should have some good fishing. I am sure we will have some when it cools off.
Just remember, if you do take a fishing trip, to always keep a tight line.
