Local angling team Hard Luck won the Georgia Division of the Southern Kingfish Association Tournament trail.
Team Hard Luck was the best angling team out of the whole tournament season. Its total weight for the season was 88.23 pounds, almost four pounds above the second place Reel Head. That gave them first place in the division.

In June, the team placed 19th overall in the Two-Way Sport Fishing Club Tournament. In July, the team placed first overall at the Sapelo Open, winning $11,000.
In August, the team competed in two events. They placed sixth overall at the Captain Haps Bash on the Bluff in Darien. Later that month, they placed 14th in the Golden Isles King Mac Attack.

Team Hard Luck fish off a 27-foot Contender with twin Suzuki motors.
The team will be traveling to Fort Pierce, Florida, in November to compete at the invitational only National Championships with the best teams in each division from North Carolina to Louisiana.
