The Liberty County NAACP will host its third annual Freedom Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, starting at 7 a.m. in downtown Hinesville.
The route is: Start at corner of Main and Midway streets at the courthouse, proceed down Main to Memorial Drive, then to Bradwell, turn around and end back at start. Advance sign-up is recommended, registration that day begins at 7 a.m. The 5K will begin at 8. The advance entry fee for youth ages 10-20 is $5, adults up to 55 pay $10 and seniors 56 and older may run free. Race day entries cost $15 for everyone, except seniors. Proceeds will help the NAACP continue its' work as advocates to ensure political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all people.
