River groups' fundraiser protects coast

Supporters of Georgia’s rivers and coast will enjoy an evening at Delegal Marina April 14 to support work that preserves the coastal heritage.
Proceeds raised from this event benefit Georgia River Network and Ogeechee Canoochee Riverkeeper.
Highlights include:
• Reception at Delegal Marina at 4:30 featuring an Oyster Roast
• Dinner at 5:30, featuring BBQ by Gerald’s Diner and beer by Moon River Brewing Company
• Music, and a live and silent auction
• Coastal cruise on Saturday afternoon for coastal cruise ticket holders
• Tour of Ossabaw Island for sponsors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets are available in advance and will not be sold at the door. Dinner tickets are $100. For those wanting to take a coastal cruise on Saturday afternoon, $150 tickets include cruise and dinner. Event sponsors will tour Ossabaw Island. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
