Hey, everyone. Tight Line Jr. here. Ol’ Tightline says hello and hopes you’re catching fish.

Here are some reports from around the coastal area.

Dean and his wife, Wilet, and Red Davis, fishing with Capt. Larry Gaddy, landed 41 fish – trout, spottail, flounder and whiting. Hey, I got the oil and the cheese grits … let’s eat!

Neal, Winn and Donna Howard netted 10 spottail, 15 trout and two flounder. Donna Howard caught a 22-inch spottail. She had a good time.

Eddie Johnson, fishing with John Kempter, had 30 trout and five spottail deck side. That’s worth the boat ride.

Capt. Jake Horten and Shawn "3/18" Branson had 23 trout, four spottail and five whiting. Those guys always catch fish.

Now, my old buddy Allen "The Big Game" Fillingame, fishing for two days, had 21 trout and two flounder. Some of the trout were three and a half pounds. Those are some nice ones.

Clay at Sunbury Crab Company and Marina has live shrimp and minnows and dead bait.

Rayburn and John at Yellowbluff Marina have live shrimp and minnows. Halfmoon Marina has live shrimp, and Big Rudy at the Sunbury Country Store has frozen local squid, frozen shrimp and finger mullet. He may have some local frozen shrimp soon.

Well folks, remember what Ol’ Tightline says and get out there and go fishing. And if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.

I. always say hit the docks, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down. ‘Til next time, wet a hook.

Your buddy,

Tightline Jr.
