Hello everyone Ole' Tight Line here and I've got some good reports from Yellow Bluff and the surrounding coastal area. The St. Catherine's Sport Fishing Club recently held its tournament and Danny, Roy and Mitchell Clark took first place landing 23 nice size trout.
John Rogers and Redbone netted 26 bass and trout. Jay Watson and his friends Greg and Gary caught eight amberjack, one tuna and six snapper.
Capt. Jake Horten and Shawn Branson landed 30 trout, eight whiting and four flounder.
Now that's a Sunday afternoon fish fry.
The Callaways took out a fishing party for two days and caught 18 vermilion snapper, 35 black seas bass, 2 red snapper, roughly 23-25 inches each, seven kings and three cobia. I'm heating up my oven right now. Well friends get out there and get fishing, and if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.

Tight Line Jr., here folks. Rayburn Goodman reports he has plenty of minnows and live shrimp. Well junior did OK on the dock tour this week flying solo I landed a 23-inch spot tail, two snapper and six croakers.
Boo Hall and I landed eight croakers and three back drums. We also caught and released a spot tail. Get out there, keep a sharp eye, and watch the cork down.
