Two PFAs extend hours in Aug.

SOCIAL CIRCLE — Two public fishing areas are offering special all-night fishing hours on select dates.  
Public fishing areas, managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division, typically are open sunrise to sunset.
On these special Fridays, anglers can fish from sunrise Friday through sunset Saturday.

The selected lakes will be open to boats properly equipped with navigation lights, and bank fishing will be allowed in designated areas. Anglers are encouraged to bring lanterns and other night-fishing equipment. The areas will be staffed. A fishing license plus a WMA license will be required. Purchase licenses online at georgiawildlife.com, by phone at 1-800-366-2661, or at a walk-in agent location.
