A man was hit by a vehicle shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday while walking on Lewis Frasier Road in east Liberty County, officials said.

 According to Liberty County Fire Chief Brian Darby, the man was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah by ambulance and was in critical condition
