Plane crash in Richmond Hill hurts 3

A single engine aircraft crashed at noon today in the driveway of a Richmond Hill resident.

The three passengers on board were injured, but there were no fatalities, according to Bryan County Emergency Services Director Jim Anderson. Anderson also said one male passenger was flown to Memorial Hospital by Lifestar helicopter while the other two, the man's daughter and granddaughter, were taken to Memorial by ambulance.

Anderson said the group departed from Orlando and were heading to North Carolina when the plane webt down. The plane crash landed at the Belfast Keller Road home of Ted Flake.

The investigation will be handed over to the Federal Aviation Administration and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
