Members of Riceboro’s Project Reach GANG, INC., was guest choir for the Georgia General Assembly’s annual “Prayer Caucus” on Sunday in Atlanta at the Capitol. This is the third time members of Project Reach Gang – short for God’s Anointed New Generation -- and founder Lavonia LeCounte have participated at the Prayer Caucus, according to LeCounte, who is shown in the front row with State Rep. Al Williams, D-MIdway, and other Project Reach members, among others. LeCount called the service “amazing and very touching,” and said about 100 Liberty County residents made the trip. Project Reach was established by LeCounte in 1998 to host the first back-to-school rally in the county, and continues to hold the rallies to this day.
