Justin Deon Gordon, 24, has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of Davis Williams Jr. Sunday, according to Liberty County Sheriff Steve Sikes.

Williams, 31, died early Sunday at Ernest and Corine's Park on Lewis Frasier Road in Midway. He had been stabbed multiple time in the back as party goers were leaving a birthday party.

Sikes said an intensive interrogation led to the arrest without incident Wednesday afternoon. He did not disclose where Gordon was arrested, citing the investigation is ongoing,
