A Fort Stewart soldier was killed in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in Long County.
A Georgia State Patrol dispatcher identified the victim as Adam Cody Huckstep, 23, who lived in Long County.
Trooper First Class David Harrison said he was called to the intersection of Elim Church and Lee Place Roads at 9:25 p.m. after a Harley Davidson that Huckstep was riding slammed into the side of a 2008 Toyota Camry, driven by Katamara Frasier, 35, of Lilburn.
The impact threw Huckstep from his bike and landed on the road. Harrison said the soldier was pronounced dead at the scene.
The trooper said Huckstep was riding north on Elim Church Road Frasier was headed west on Lee Place Road. The dispatcher said the GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team has been called in to investigate the accident.
