Drug raids lead to 7 arrests in eastern Liberty County
Several pounds of marijuana, butane, LSD, weapons seized

A drug raid at a residence in eastern Liberty County yielded several pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as weapons.

On Dec. 18, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office served a narcotics search warrant in the 200 block of Sunshine Lake Road. During the search, several pounds of marijuana, marijuana growing equipment, processing equipment to process marijuana, more than 150 glass smoking devices, LSD strips and six firearms were seized.

While agents were at the home conducting the search, 32-year-old Robert Lennon Hilton was arrested during a traffic stop while en route to the residence. Hilton was found to be in possession of four cans on butane used to process marijuana. Hilton was charged with two counts each of sale of schedule I controlled substance and possession of tools of a crime, and one count each of manufacturing “DAB” (a schedule I controlled substance), possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute (LSD), manufacturing marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.

Hilton’s fiancée, Starlin Lucy, was arrested at the residence and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce).

A passenger in the vehicle with Hilton identified as Phillip Chance Tucker, 30, who also lives on Sunshine Lake Road, was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of schedule I controlled substance (“DAB”) and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

In another raid conducted in the 3000 block of Islands Highway, Joshua Clowers, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and sale of marijuana. There were four children in the home when the search was conducted. Ariel Bryant, 23, Jesus Cuevas, 23, and Brandy Waters, 26, also of the residence, were later arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
