After a lengthy investigation, three adults and one juvenile have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a series of burglaries and burglary attempts in Long County’s Elim community, according to Long County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Tom Sollosi.
The department has been investigating several incidents in the area since January. On May 20, Shi J. Knowles, 21, and Styles L. Knowles, 19, both were arrested and charged with one count each of burglary and one count of attempting to commit a burglary, Sollosi said. A third person, Delmazeo A. Sanders, 20, who was arrested back in January, also was linked to burglaries in the area and he was charged with one count of burglary. The identity of a juvenile also arrested and charged has not been released.
Sollosi said the three adults, all Ludowici residents, posted bond and are awaiting trials.
