SAVANNAH - The Army says four soldiers at Fort Stewart were injured when two-vehicles collided near the east entrance to the military installation.
The head-on crash occurred on Georgia Route 47 at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday
The military said the wreck involved a Humvee and a civilian car driven by another soldier.
The soldier in the private vehicle was airlifted to a Savannah hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
Three other soldiers in the Humvee were taken to Winn Army Community Hospital. Two were listed in good condition and the other was stable.
The accident is under investigation.
