According to Long County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Danny Dinkins, on May 30 his department served a search warrant on David Ellis Strickland, 53, and Maybelle Williams, 53, at their Futch Lane home in the Sand Hills community of Long County, and the couple’s business, 301 Game Room, which is attached to the home.
During the search, Dinkins said, authorities found 15 small bags of marijuana, four marijuana plants, 16 hydrocodone pills and two weapons.
Dinkins said Strickland and Ellis were arrested and charged with possession of hydrocodone with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, manufacturing marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and two counts of selling cocaine.
Dinkins said both have been denied bond and are in jail. He also said this investigation began in February with the assistance of the Georgia State Patrol, the state parole office, and the state probation office.
