Theft by taking

A student at Bradwell Institute reported to police someone stole $340 from his pants pocket while he was at track practice. The complainant told police he left his pants in an unsecured room where the track athletes change clothes.

Criminal Trespass

Police met with school officials in reference to a criminal trespass complaint. Upon investigating, police photographed gang graffiti on the wall of the men’s rest room in the common area. The graffiti had pro-“Crip” connotations. Police advised the principal about how to obtain a copy of the police report.   

Possession of alcohol by a minor/open container

Tupelo Trail, Hinesville

Police investigated a vehicle parked inside James Brown Park with its lights off. Police discovered two teenage males in the front of the vehicle and a teenage female in the back seat. Upon investigating, the two males were found to be under the influence of alcohol. When questioned, the boys stated they were parked there to have sex with the female. Police found four empty beer containers and one container half consumed. The two male subjects were arrested and the vehicle released into the custody of the female when it was determined she was not under the influence.
