July 5: Burglary, forced entry, residence, second degree — As an officer was on foot patrol, he noticed the door open of a residence in Country Side Mobile Home Park. The officer entered, and there was no one there. Later, the resident showed up. He said he saw his front door open, and because he was new to the country, he did not know to call 911, so he left the residence. Nothing was missing from the residence, but two sprayer machines were missing from the utility trailer, which total $4,000.
Entering an automobile — An officer was dispatched to Bacon Road in Hinesville after a man discovered his medication missing from his car. He said that he was missing Percocet and Valium, and each bottle contained four pills. He last saw the medication at 10 p.m. 
Burglary, forced entry, residence — A Hinesville woman was house-sitting for a friend who lives on Palm Drive, and when she arrived, she noticed the door was kicked open and the door jamb damaged. The resident was away in Maryland and wouldn’t be back until July 9. The only item that appeared to be missing was her Playstation 3.
Simple battery, criminal trespass — An officer was dispatched to Doodles in reference to a fight in the parking lot. A man said he came to Doodles to relax after he and his cousin had an altercation. The cousin came into the bar and wanted to step outside and talk with the man, which they did. The man claimed that the cousin attempted to punch him. Then he grabbed his cousin, and they both fell on the hood of a car. A witness said that the cousin made the first move. The cousin claimed that the man tried to fight with him first. The vehicle’s hood was damaged.

July 6
Harassing phone calls — An assistant manager at Food Lion called an officer after being harassed over the phone by her coworker’s husband. After the complainant told the coworker to clean up the store, she refused to do so and called her husband to tell him to contact the manager. He called and allegedly cursed and threatened to beat up the complainant. The complainant reported that this wasn’t the first time this particular coworker and her husband have done this.
Criminal trespass — An officer responded to Liberty Manor Court after a Hinesville man noticed all four of his tires slashed. He suspects his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend did it because the complainant and the boyfriend have ongoing problems with each other.

July 7
Burglary, forced entry, residence — An officer was dispatched to Cherokee Circle in Hinesville after a burglary occurred. The complainant said he left the residence July 2 and returned July 7 to find two televisions, 38 Xbox games, a laptop and some clothing missing.
The items together are valued at $4,728.
