Hurricane preparedness to be topic

The community is invited to a daylong event to educate and inform on what to do before during and after a hurricane.
Friday marked the beginning of the 2007 hurricane season and forecasts predict 13-17 named storms, including up to 10 hurricanes that could threaten our area.
The Liberty/Hinesville Hinesville Emergency Management Agency and Lowe’s invite you to the Hurricane Awareness day Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lowe’s parking lot. Booths from agencies such as the Red Cross, LHEMA, Hinesville Fire Department, EMS, HPD, LCSO, DFACS, Mosquito Control and more will present information to help the public make it through this storm season.
