Here are a couple reports filed recently with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office:

Aug. 25
Verbal dispute — A woman reported that her boyfriend threatened to total his car on Luke Road after the two had a major argument in their Midway home.
The woman gave the tag number to the deputy but he couldn’t find any evidence showing the man went through with the threat.

Road hazard — A vehicle was left parked on the side of John Wells Road and had one of its tires beyond the white road marking, causing a road hazard.
The deputy checked to see if anyone had called about the car and was informed the owner was told earlier he had to move the car.
The deputy had the car towed away.
