Sept. 3: DUI — A Riceboro woman was arrested for DUI and obstructing law-enforcement officers around 2 a.m. at Highway 84 and Bill Carter Road. The woman, who had passengers, reportedly had three open containers in the car and three outstanding warrants for her arrest. An Alco-Sensor test indicated the presence of alcohol, but Breathalyzer tests administered at the Liberty County Jail were inconclusive because she failed to comply with procedures. She was handed over to the jail, where she was held for an outside agency.

Sept. 4: Disorderly conduct — Two young women were arrested for disorderly conduct after they got into an altercation on Bill Carter Road. They reportedly took the fight to James Miller Park, where one woman’s mother got involved. The incident escalated as one woman rammed the other woman’s vehicle. The mother was warned for encouraging her daughter to fight.
