Nov. 1: Theft by taking — A Groover Road woman reported that sometime between 5 p.m. Nov. 1 and 8 a.m. Nov. 2, an unknown person entered her property and took one of the four wooden cat houses that she had made the day before.

The woman was given a case number.

Nov. 2

Criminal trespass — A deputy responded to a call from a woman who said her car had been scratched after she parked it in her husband’s driveway.

A derogatory name had been scratched into the rear driver’s side door. The woman said she’d been having Facebook disputes with one of her husband’s female friends. The woman was given a case number.

Verbal dispute — A woman complained that she and her brother were in a verbal dispute over their mother’s well-being. The woman’s brother reportedly had just moved back into her residence due to the declining health of their mother.

The woman said her brother told her that he was “not going to let her kill his mother,” and he said he would stay at the residence until he felt their mother was taken care of.

The responding deputy said he did not witness any signs of violence.

Nov. 3

Suspicious activity — A Juanita Road woman complained that another woman had been following her. The complainant showed the responding deputy an order of disposition and told him she had been advised by a magistrate judge to make a report if the woman tried to make contact with her. The complainant said the woman followed her to the end of her street from the 15th Street area and also around the Elim Church Road area. The complainant was given a case number.
