The Long County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a North Carolina fugitive who had been on the run earlier this week.
According to Lt. Tom Sollosi, the sheriff’s office received information about Suadel Edward Taylor Jr.’s location, which led to his Tuesday arrest. Sollosi said Taylor was wanted by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office for breaking and entering a building, larceny after breaking and entering, second-degree trespassing, attempting to break and enter a motor vehicle and attempting to break into and enter a building.
Taylor was apprehended by Deputies Terry Perry, Levin Tomlinson and Austin McGinn, according to Sollosi. After confirming the arrest warrants, North Carolina authorities will extradite Taylor back to Pitt County, he said.
