Ludowici churches burglarized

LUDOWICI - During the past six weeks, four Ludowici churches have been broken into. The most recent crime occurred last week.
According to Ludowici Police Department Investigator Sal Genuladi, Faith Baptist Christian Academy/Faith Baptist Church was broken into Thursday, sometime between midnight and 6 a.m.
Few details were provided about the incident, but according to the investigator, a laptop computer and  The church/school has been broken into three times since mid-July.
Genualdi said the school was also broken into between 9 a.m. July 9 and 1:37 a.m. July 10, and between 9:20 p.m. and 11:13 p.m. Aug. 12.
Officials found evidence of forcible entries each time.
Genualdi said that during the first church robbery, $150 was stolen. After the second robbery, nothing appeared to be missing. However, the property was damaged and officials think it happened as the suspects searched for valuables.
Genualdi said St. James Missionary Baptist Church was also broken into Aug. 16 or 17 between 11:45 p.m. and 12:06 a.m. According to Genualdi, nothing was reported missing but the church was damaged.
There is a reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the break-ins.
