Long County resident Alexander Brooks Snyder was arrested Nov. 8 for his alleged involvement in several area thefts, according to Long County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Tom Sollosi.
The lieutenant said Snyder was charged with one count of commercial burglary, two counts of burglary to storage structures and three counts of theft by taking.
At the time of his apprehension, Snyder was in possession of approximately $3,000 worth of stolen property, Sollosi said.
He added that Snyder allegedly is responsible for thefts totaling more than $30,000 in value during a two-month period.
The lieutenant said Snyder also is a suspect in several other burglaries in the area. Snyder currently is incarcerated in the Ludowici/Long County Jail.
