One suspect was arrested Monday in Midway after law-enforcement officers seized a significant amount of cocaine at a home in the 400 block of Quarterman Road.
Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Jeff Hein said Daniel Britton, 41, who lives at the residence, was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The residence was searched upon the conclusion of an investigation, Hein said. A subsequent search at another Midway residence yielded two additional firearms allegedly belonging to Britton, but Hein declined to identify the location.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Georgia Bureau of Investigation; the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force; and Midway Police Department also participated in the search.
