A Fort Stewart soldier reported missing in early November 2010 was found unharmed, according to the Hinesville Police Department.
Spc. Maria Cristina Cardona, also listed as Cardonaisaza, 23, was located “safe and still here in Georgia,” said HPD Det. Kyle Lairamore late Tuesday afternoon.
Cardona is assigned to the 135th Quartermaster Company, 87th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and was declared AWOL on Nov. 9, 2010, according to Fort Stewart Public Affairs.
