More 84 work runs tonight-Thursday
roadworkaheadsign

Contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be doing more nighttime road work on Highway 84 starting 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday, if weather permits.

The DOT is replacing traffic loops between Ryon Avenue near General Screven Way and O.C. Martin Drive, which is the entrance to the Liberty County Performing Arts Center.

The work will result in single lane closures for both eastbound and westbound traffic.

Motorists are reminded to drive carefully in the work zone.

The work will improve the ride for motorists using Highway 84, according to the DOT.
