Red Cross provides relief after sugar refinery blast

Denise Register with the American Red Cross spoke at Tuesday's Rotary meeting about the work the Red Cross has done in the wake of the Imperial Sugar Refinery explosion. More than $27,000 has been donated, 913 bulk items such as Chapstick, sunscreen, and socks have been distributed, and more than 27,000 meals have been prepared.
