The Georgia State Fire Marshal’s Office is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved in a suspicious fire that broke out in Walthourville the morning of Aug. 6 and destroyed an unoccupied home.
According to Walthourville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Fire Chief Terry Satterfield,  the fire began shortly before 1 a.m. and gutted a home at 465 Talmadge Road, which was used by the family of Francis Pagliarullo for annual family reunions.
According to Satterfield, due to items found outside the residence, the fire was dubbed suspicious in nature.
