Kymberly Carr, 36, was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Hinesville. She has two children.
Carr, who was driving a 1997 Harley Davidson, had just finished a Wounded Warrior poker run at the VFW. She had sent a text message to her husband, Walter Carr, to meet her at Waffle King on Highway 196, according to Hinesville traffic
accident investigator Lt. Max McClendon.

The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of E.G. Miles Parkway and Pineland Avenue. Carr was riding east on her motorcycle as Lisa Rene Baker, driving a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup, was headed west. Baker tried to turn left, but collided with the motorcycle, according to Hinesville Police traffic accident investigator Sgt. Mike Mooney.
Baker told police she did not see Carr coming.
The motorcyclist was taken to Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart where she was later pronounced dead, Mooney said.
The accident is under investigation.
