Authorities are on hand of a fatal accident in Wayne County involving a tractor trailer.

 According to Wayne County Sheriff John Carter, the semi ran off Highway 341 into the wood line.

 Carter said the big rig caught on fire.  The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

 The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. near mile marker 4 on Highway 341.
