The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man allegedly responsible for an armed robbery in Riceboro Sunday.

According to an LCSO press release, at 1:01 a.m. Sunday a middle aged white man entered into the El Cheapo at 11181 South Coastal Highway.

He told the clerk he had a gun under his raincoat, demanded money from the store clerk and made off with an undisclosed amount of currency.

The store’s surveillance camera caught two images of the alleged robber.
