Soldiers in on-post wreck identified

The four Fort Stewart soldiers injured in a wreck on Fort Stewart Thursday have been identified.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. when a military vehicle and civilian car slammed into each other on Highway 47 near the east entrance to the installation.
The soldier driving the privately owned vehicle, Staff Sgt. Daniel S. Michael, Division Special Troops Battalion (DSTB), 3rd Infantry Division, was air-lifted to Savannah's Memorial Health University Hospital. He is currently in serious condition.
Three soldiers in the military vehicle were taken to Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart. Spc. Zachary Robertson, Pfc. Arthur Barboza, and Pvt. Luther Grimes, also of the DSTB, were treated and released.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
