Tropical Storm Emily is not expected to have much effect on Coastal Georgia, according to weather forecasters.

The National Weather Service’s Hurricane Center announced the Caribbean-born storm made landfall in west central Florida today and is expected to continue on a northeast path that takes it away from the coast.
