Bond has been denied for Torres and Candice Boles, the parents arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of their 3-year-old daughter.

Torres Boles was charged with murder and cruelty to children in connection with the suspicious death of his 3-year-old daughter, and Candice Boles was charged with being party to the crime of felony murder and cruelty to children. Both are at the Liberty County Jail.

Hinesville Police Department Detective Douglas Snider said the charges were upgraded from cruelty to children.

There also was a closed Division of Family and Children Services hearing Friday morning concerning the couple's other child at the Historic Liberty County Courthouse.
