Feb. 18
Theft of trailer — HPD responded to a report of theft at a business on Memorial Drive. The complainant said his low-bed car-hauler trailer had been stolen during the night. He said the trailer was secured the night prior, locked in a storage yard. He said that when he arrived in the morning, the gate was open and the trailer missing. Officers found the padlock to the front gate had been cut.

Feb. 23
Burglary — Officers responded to a reported burglary at a Pineland Avenue residence. The complainant said she received a call while she was visiting a friend. The caller informed her that items were missing from her residence. The caller said he had gone to her house to pick up his property. The complainant said she suspected her friend’s father, because her friend had a key to her residence. No signs of forced entry were found.

Feb. 24
Entering an auto — A complainant came to HPD to report of someone entering her auto. She said that a $30 money order was missing from her white 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She said she last saw the money order in her vehicle the day before, when she dropped it off at an auto shop. She said one of the mechanics may have taken the money order.
