ATLANTA — The White House is trying again to get two Georgia attorneys appointed to the federal bench.

The Obama Administration said Wednesday it is appointing Amy Totenberg and Steve Jones to fill two vacancies on the bench. The two were nominated last year.

Totenberg is the former general counsel for the Atlanta Board of Education.

Jones is a Superior Court judge from Athens.
