Walmart evacuation lifted
all entrances blocked by HPD

Witnesses report that traffic at Hinesville's Walmart was back to normal by 4:30 after an alleged bomb threat earlier had prompted an evacuation.

Details are sketchy and a Hinesville Police officer at the scene said he was not authorized to confirm the report.

But shoppers were not being allowed in the store and officers had entrances to the parking lot blocked about 4 p.m.
