Walthourville Police Department and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that resulted in a fatality. The incident occurred roughly 40 minutes ago at Cedar Hill Mobile Home Park, lot 69, according to WPD Chief Bernie Quarterman.

According to Quarterman the victim was shot multiple times. The name of the male victim is not being released pending notification of next of kin.

Quarterman said two African-American males were seen leaving the area in a grey car. No further description of the vehicle was available but it was last seen traveling eastbound on Highway 84.

Cedar Hill MHP is near Highway 84 and Airport Road.
