The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Sugar Foots Sweets & Treats on Wednesday, February 28 at the Historic Bacon Fraser House, 208 E. Court Street.

Dr. Karen Bell, executive board member of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, welcomed those in attendance and congratulated Jamie Locklear, the owner of Sugar Foots Sweets & Treats, on her new business.

“If you need anything from the Chamber, please let us know. We are here to serve you and we have a great staff that can help you,” Bell said.

Donald Lovette, chairman of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, welcomed those in attendance and gave congratulatory remarks.

“We are happy to have a business located in unincorporated Liberty County that will provide service and delicacies to all of Liberty County,” he said.

Locklear thanked those in attendance and gave a brief history of the business. She also thanked her family and the community for their support.
