Hinesville, GA – The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Liberty Diamonds Elite Academy on Thursday, December 17th at their location, 407 S Main Street, in Hinesville.

Chairman of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, Kathy Villafane, welcomed those in attendance, congratulated the owners, Stasha Smith and Keisha Williams-Young, and welcomed them as new members of the Chamber family. Michelle Ricketson from the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, also thanked the business for joining the community and welcomed them to the downtown Hinesville area. 

Stasha Smith thanked guests for attending and shared her excitement about the new venture: “I wish there was something like this for me when I was growing up in the community. Now I have the opportunity to provide an outlet for young athletes in my hometown.”

Liberty Diamonds Elite Academy is an all-star competitive cheerleading gym in Hinesville, Georgia. Their athletes range from ages 3-18 years old and compete in the most prestigious competitions in the coastal regions of the United States.

Established in 1976, the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to support new and existing business, trade and industry within Liberty County, while increasing the cultural, civic, educational and overall quality of life of its citizens. The Chamber and its’ 500 members are committed to enhancing the local business climate and maintaining a high quality of life in the community.
