Santa mailbox now at Bacon Fraser House

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce/CVB is ready to bring some holiday cheer. The annual Santa mailbox is back and has been put out at the historic Bacon Fraser House! You won’t be able to miss this bright red mailbox with the candy cane on the side. Families can come by to drop a letter in the mailbox with free delivery to the North Pole. Every child who sends a letter will receive one back from Santa and his helpers free of charge!

To make sure that every child receives a letter back, the mailbox will be available for use by the public until December 13th, and can be found at 208 East Court Street in downtown Hinesville.

After seeing what a positive reaction that the mailbox has had in the past, Chamber CEO Leah Poole decided to keep the tradition alive. “Seeing the joy that this tradition brings never gets old, and we are happy that we get to be a part of it.” Established in 1976, the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to support new and existing business, trade and industry within Liberty County, while increasing the cultural, civic, educational and overall quality of life of its citizens. The Chamber and its’ 500 members are committed to enhancing the local business climate and maintaining a high quality of life in the community.
