The 200 Club of the Coastal Empire will host the 2013 Acts of Valor Awards at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 27, in the  Charles H. Morris Center, 10 E. Broad St. in Savannah.  
The awards honor specially selected first-responders who, while in the line of duty, performed an exceptional meritorious act that may have resulted in their death or serious injury. All nominations were endorsed by the chief law-enforcement officer, fire chief or head of the nominee’s agency from all 20 counties supported by club.
