WASHINGTON — The National Federation of Independent Business recently named U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., a guardian of small business for his voting record on behalf of America’s small-business owners.
NFIB President and CEO Dan Danner, who presented the group’s award, praised Chambliss for “standing up for small business.”
“I am humbled to receive this award,” Chambliss said. “Small businesses are the economic engine of this country. I have always worked to protect small businesses and will continue to do so.”
